With summer officially here, the heatwaves soaring thru the capital, and children kick starting their 6weeks holidays, its fair to say the adventures across London have begun.
As usual music will be the soundtrack of many summer activities, and top quality artists will be headlining across festivals, and concerts all around UK and Europe. Alanta’s most popular afro-centric aletrnative hip hop group are travelling to London to perform at the all new Jazz Café in Camden on Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd August.
Tickets are selling fast to see the group perform some of their best loved classics from the 90s including: Mr Wendal, and ‘Everyday People’ which is still one of the most played classics at London Grooves weekly R&B parties at Vodka Revs America Square in the city of London every Saturday.
Having formed in 1988 this collective have released many qualaity albums with their music being a fusion of funk, rap, afro and carribean styles paying hommage to their roots and representing for the South of America.

Brixton has been the destination for some of the best roof top parties since the summer season started, and with only 6 weeks left, its time to jam in as much fun in the sun as possible.
We Love Soul are presenting their Summer Sunday All Day Roof Terrace special at POW (Prince of Wales) on Brixton Road. This venue has become the hearbeat for all things live with funky bands playing everything from reggae, soul to jazz, plus live performances from acts such as Omar, Mica Paris, Damage to name only a few played across R&B clubs and parties in London town.

Every Saturday the venue hosts it’s very own party ‘Soul Power’ night, paying tribute to the funkiest era’s of music 70s and 80s with disco, soul, funk, and lots of rare grooves being spun by resident DJs. The lyrical entertainer and teacher KRS One is joining forces with none other than Hip Hop producer and DJ extraordinare DJ Premier for what is tipped to be a night to remember on Friday 15th July.
