The prestigious Somerset House is all set for it’s 2015 Summer Series in conjunction with American Express kicking off this Thursday with Chromeo, and featuring the talents of George Ezra, James Bay to Jessie J naming only a few.
This weekend all roads will be leading to Sunday’s show when the headline act will be one of Jamaica’s hottest reggae stars Chronixx live with Zincefence Redemeption playing through his most in demand anthems and spreading the summer vibes of the Caribbean to the UK.
Tickets are selling fast for Sunday 12th July to see Chronixx who having been inspired by Gregory Isaacs, Burro Banton, Dennis Brown Norris Man, and or course Bob Marley loved across countless London parties, he now elevates crowds with his carefully selected band ZincFence Redemption consisting of top musicians fusing his style of reggae, and dance-hall along with his dynamic lyrics and flows.
Chronixx will be bringing Jamaica to Somerset House and setting the Summer Series on fire with support from Dre Island who is another talented rising musician from the land of Usain Bolt. Music lovers are eager to soak up the soulful vibes of D’Angelo on Monday 13th July when he headlines his sold out show at The Roundhouse in Camden.
Now that tickets for the Roundhouse are only available via resellers sites such as Stubhub, all eyes are now firmly on Monday 20th July as D’Angelo has added this extra date to his schedule to ensure fans get another chance to see him live and this time the venue is the legendary Eventim Apollo Hammersmith.

DJ Spinna is well respected New York DJ and producer who has remixed artists such as Mary J Blige, De La Soul, Stevie Wonder, Eminem, Pharaohe Monch and many more. The demise of Plan B has finally hit music lovers in Brixton, the venue which has attracted some of the biggest uunderground House DJs, Hip Hop legends such as Jazzy Jeff is no more.
Fans of the venue were perplexed last week when they couldn’t access Plan B’s website due to it being offline, and the venue closed all of last week. Emails flooded the Plan B contacts address with punters wondering what had happened to the two-floored hot spot loved for playing R&B, Deep House anthems often requested at London Groove Musiqology parties.
The news was finally revealed this week via various clubbing sites that The Columbo Group had bought up the venue. As this empire founded by Steve Ball is popular for its restaurant and bar locations such as Blues Kitchen located in Camden and Shoreditch, the entepenuer has also bought up the legendary Electric Social bar in Acre Lane which wil be transformed into third Blues Ktichen on Autumn this year serving live music, Texas BBQ and the biggest bourbon selections in the capital.
As yet the Columbo group haven’t stated what the venue formely known as Plan B will become however sources say it will remain a club under a new name with lots of “exciting plans in the mix” so we say farewell Plan B, watch this space for updates.
