Pina Colada originated from Puerto Rico and translated into English means “strained pineapple” is a rum based cocktail with coconut, pineapple and lime.
Dating back to the 19th century it’s said that Puerto Rican pirates used to make it as an alternative to straight Rum in order to make the rum last longer plus it also boosted the sailors morale at sea.
Nowadays Pina Colada is a considered a classic and most bars will have the ingredients to whip up an order.

This feisty diva continues to be one of England’s strongest soul vocalist with a loyal fanbase and decades of timeless albums under her belt. Mica Paris and Friends promises to be a night of the finest live music as she still holds the title of: ‘UK Queen of Soul’ and for this royal event will be joined on stage by fellow UK legends Omar, and The Floacist of Floetry fame.
