Pre-Festival Warm Up Parties
Now the summer season is here, it is not just festivals that are taking place in and around London but there are also pre-festival celebrations taking place too.
Recently the pre-festival celebrations that have been taking place in London nightclubs and bars have include a warm-up party which took place on 12th June and pulled in huge crowds of party goers. Another popular pre-festival party took place at the London nightclub Sosho and was the Big Chill Festival Warm-Up which certainly got everyone in the mood for the upcoming iTunes Festival.
Hertfordshire is playing host to the festival Standon Calling which involves competitions for dressing up and hot air ballooning. However, the festival does not take place until 31st July so all those people who can’t wait can attend the Standon Calling warm-up event which takes place on 4th July. Cafe Oto in London’s Dalston area will be providing interactive theatre, performances and poetry readings.
It is possible to attend warm-up parties for Edinburgh Festival in London over the course of July when pubs and clubs in London’s Crouch End are previewing some of the comedy talent that is due to appear this year including Steve K Amos.
