London Nightclub Dress Codes For Ladies

Don’t let that sports casual look prevent you from enjoying the London nightlife and it's not just the guys

A guide for ladies on what to wear when partying in London nightclubs and enjoying the London nightlife

In the last article we looked at what guys should wear on their night out at nightclubs in London, including the no-no’s of sportswear. Now, we’ll take a look at what the ladies should wear on their big night out in the UK’s glitzy capital.
The night club dress code for women is varied, but the general theme is evening wear that looks both glamorous and stylish. Come on girls, you should know how to dress, but here are a few pointers to help you on your way.
If the weather requires it, a coat or designer jacket is fine, although try to avoid denim. For a top you could choose a blouse, cardigan, sweater or fashionable top. Designer trousers and skirts are the usual regular attire for women in London’s top night clubs although a dress can certainly make a great impression. As with the men, fashion jeans are ok, but make sure they are smart and not ripped or baggy.
Now to that all-important footwear; just wear your favourite shoes or boots and you’ll be fine although there are some clubs now, particularly the high end upmarket nightclubs which will not allow women in wearing flats and prefer heels or stylish sandals, and don’t forget those accessories to make you stand out from the crowd – wear as much jewellery as you wish to make it a top clubbing experience!
Photo I.D. is also essential as most nightclubs have a challenge 18 or 21 entry policy. Suitable forms of nightclub identification are either a drivers licence or passport, student I.D. is not usually accepted.
