Cocktails
Chill out with a cocktail, especially popular and exceptionally refreshing in the hot
weather and what better way to cool down and enjoy the London nightlife than with an ice cold cocktail.
Here are some of the most popular ones that have been around for ages.
- Cosmopolitan
- 1 and a half shots of vodka
- 1 shot of orange liqueur
- 1 shot of cranberry juice
- A dash of lime juice
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the vodka, liqueur, cranberry juice and lime juice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
2. Margarita
- ½ lime
- Salt
- 2 shots of tequila
- ¾ shot orange liqueur
- 1 shot of lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of caster sugar
Rub the slice of lime around the edge of the cocktail glass; dip the edge of the glass in salt, leave to dry.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; add tequila, liqueur, lime juice and sugar. Shake well, strain and pour into the glass.
3. Pina Colada
- 2 shots of white rum
- 4 shots of pineapple juice
- 1 shot of coconut cream
- 1 shot of single cream (optional)
Pour all of the ingredients into a blender and add some crushed ice. Mix until smooth then pour into a highball glass. Garnish your cocktail with a wedge of pineapple.
