The ‘Love Lockdown’ star insists many of today’s pop stars are “the champions” and show similar characteristic to classic musical icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson and Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters.
He wrote on his blog: “I LOOK AT OUR CURRENT SUPERSTARS LIKE LEGENDS IN THE MAKING... LIKE JUSTIN IS THE NEW MIKE , BEYONCE'S THE NEW TINA TURNER, GAGA'S MADONNA, JAY IS SINATRA... WAYNE IS HENDRIX, THOM YORKE IS ROGER WATERS, THESE ARE THE CHAMPIONS AND SHOULD BE DOCUMENTED AS SUCH (sic).”
The current stars mentioned by Kanye are Justin Timberlake, Beyonce Knowles, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Lil’ Wayne, and Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke.
Kanye also used his blog to praise a paparazzi photograph of Rihanna, saying that as well as capturing the singer’s beauty, the photographer has also brought the idyllic landscape to life.
He wrote: WHY CAN'T ALL PAPARAZZI PHOTOS BE THIS GOOD? WELL OBVIOUSLY BECAUSE MOST CELEBS JUST AREN'T RIHANNA LOL! ... BUT ON THE REAL, THIS PIC IS HARDCORE. Kimberley Walsh refuses to bare her breasts to be sexy.
The Girls Aloud beauty isn't interested in wearing provocative clothes which show off her chest and legs and prefers outfits that flatter her figure.
She said: "I prefer clothes that go in at the waist as it shows I've actually got a shape. I don't love my legs so I won't make them the feature of my outfit. I don't feel comfortable wearing cleavage baring clothes, either. If you've got a silhouette, that can be sexier than having your actual boobs or legs out. I don't feel I have to bare to be sexy."
The 27-year-old singer - who tends to gain weight on her lower half - struggles to find the right pair of trousers to suit her body shape.
She said: "I find it hard to get trousers to fit because I've got a bigger bum and smaller waist. The whole hip-waist ratio thing doesn't work in trousers. There's no point trying to pour myself into tight trousers when they don't suit me."

Jennifer Lopez is still struggling to lose her baby weight.
The singer-and-actress, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme last February, can't quite shift the last few pounds.
Jennifer, who gained over 60lbs during pregnancy, said: "It's funny, once I gave birth I dropped 30lbs immediately and then the next 20lbs came off right away. When I did a triathlon, I dropped another 10, and with the last 10 I'm still struggling with. I probably have 5-6lbs more to go."
Despite gaining a large amount of weight, the 39-year-old beauty enjoyed being pregnant and revealed she and husband Marc Anthony would love to add to their family.
She said: "I think we'll have more children. I mean, it's fun to do all the things we do, but nothing feels like what it is to have children and to have that joy and purpose in your life of raising another human being.
"I had a great pregnancy, but I probably won't be as lucky the second time. It was great, though. I didn't have any of the bad symptoms, no morning sickness or anything."updated 14.5.09

Jennifer Hudson used to sleep in her mother's bed until she was 15.
The Oscar-winning actress - who was left devastated when her beloved mom Darnell Donerson was murdered last November along with Jennifer's brother and nephew - shared a close relationship with Darnell and spent as much time with her as possible. She said: "I was always a mama's baby. I'd go and sleep in her bed until I was 15 years old."
Jennifer - whose estranged brother-in-law is awaiting formal charges of the three murders - says her faith has helped get her through the worst period in her life.
She added to Essence magazine: "The thing that keeps me going is knowing that God is in control. It's like, if he placed me here then I must be prepared."
Despite the tragedy, Jennifer is now looking forward to sharing her life with fiance David Otunga, who proposed on her birthday last September.
The 'Dreamgirls' star - who recently returned David's proposal by presenting him with a five-carat custom-made engagement ring - said: "He is such a gentlemen. I sit in the car waiting because I can't touch the door. I am not allowed!"

"I may shave my head into a fine mohawk, like a tall one, because one of our camera operators had a beautiful mohawk for the first two years. I've always wanted one."
The 39-year-old hunk - who is expecting his first child with wife Yessica Kumala this summer - recently revealed he attracts a lot of attention from drunk mature ladies when he goes out.

The British supermodel wowed casting directors during her appearance at the Fashion For Relief fundraiser in Mumbai last week and is now planning to return to India to audition for her first major film role. "At the end of the show, two well-known Bollywood producers approached her and asked if she'd be interested in screen testing. "Naomi was incredibly flattered and plans to come back to Mumbai for more talks whenever she next has a break in her schedule." Although Naomi may be keen to launch a movie career, she admits her previous ventures away from modelling have not been as successful. The 38-year-old-beauty tried to become a pop star in 1995, but her album 'Baby Woman' flopped. She said: "I must say that I am not a great singer. I gave it a try but it didn't really work. I know this isn't like the Oscars, but it's still amazing because unlike any other awards show, it's all because of you guys." 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' star Vanessa Hudgens picked up the Favourite Female Actress accolade, while the film was voted Favourite Movie. Zac Efron took to the stage to accept the film's award, saying: "Lately, a lot of people have been taking credit for bringing back the musical. The truth is, we've known who's been responsible for bringing back the musical all along. It was you guys!" Just as important as the winners were those who got covered in green slime while on the stage, with Favourite Male Singer Jesse McCartney and presenters Sandra Bullock and Hugh Jackman getting gunged this year. The 23-year-old singer says the paparazzi make her feel trapped and sometimes she dreads going out. Lily said: "Sometimes it makes you feel like a caged animal, being followed by 20 men with cameras all day. The second I walk out the door, it's like that." 'The Fear' singer took out her anger on one photographer after he drove into her car earlier this month, punching, kicking and throwing a water bottle at him. An onlooker said: "The guy's car nudged Lily's and the next thing anyone knew she was out and flailing. She was punching and kicking. She certainly let him know what she thought of him." Lily says the incident happened after she was chased by seven cars which even ran a red light to pursue her. Following the altercation Lily got a court injunction to protect her. She added: "Photographers are now not allowed to wait outside my house, follow me in cars, wait for me outside friends' houses, or my family's houses. Michael Jackson will sing with his eldest son on the opening night of his London residency. The 50-year-old singer is planning to invite 12-year-old Prince Michael I onstage to perform a surprise musical number during the first of his 50 'This Is It' shows at London's O2 arena in July. A source said: "What better way to introduce his son to the music world than to have him come onstage during the most anticipated concert in history? Of course nothing's set yet, and Michael is always changing his mind." But friends claim Jackson has an ulterior motive for the father-son performance - he is hoping it will distract people from talking about the likelihood of him completing all the shows. The source said: "He knows what people are saying about him not being able to do all 50 shows. Don't expect him to address it publicly." The 'Thriller' singer is also planning to ask Leona Lewis to join him on stage. He reportedly wants her to sing his sister Janet Jackson's part in their 1995 hit 'Scream'. Another source said: "Michael has a list of singers he feels could do Janet justice — and Leona is top. He hasn't approached her yet but he's a big fan of everything she has achieved. "She's massive all around the world and he feels this duet would give both their careers an even bigger boost."

Rihanna's friends are worried Chris Brown could "kill her". The 21-year-old singer has decided to take back Chris - who has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats after he allegedly beat her - but those close to her are concerned for her safety after hearing the couple's vicious rows. One friend told In Touch Weekly magazine: "We have heard him yelling and getting so angry with her since the whole thing went down. We are all scared for her and think he could even kill her." Chris is accused to punching, biting and choking Rihanna until she was unconscious in his silver Lamborghini. If convicted he faces over four years in prison. The friend added: "After Chris was arrested she admitted this was not the first physical attack. She said it's been going on for months and it has gotten worse." It was recently reported Rihanna and Chris, 19, are recording a duet together in Santa Monica with producer Polow Da Don. Although the name of the song has not been released, it is about a relationship. A source said: "The theme is about being stronger and growing stronger in a relationship. The song was originally created for Rihanna before the fight. However, it wasn't initially slated for Chris to be on the song. "The funny thing is, the song expresses the emotions that both Chris and Rihanna are feeling at this moment - facing challenges and overcoming the ups and downs of a relationship in which you become stronger." Meanwhile, Chris has withdrawn his name from the nominations at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. The singer was up for Favourite Male Singer and Favourite Song for 'Kiss Kiss' but despite an online petition - which was signed by more than 5,000 people - calling for his removal the children's TV network had refused to do so. Chris' representative said in a statement: "Chris very much appreciates the support of his fans and the honour they have paid him in the way of nominations. Unfortunately, the controversy surrounding the incident last month has shifted the focus from the music to whether he should be allowed to be among those nominated. "While Chris would like to speak to his fans directly about this and other issues, pending legal proceedings preclude his doing so at this time. Friends claim Angelina is so determined to look like a boy she has turned to the Martha's Vineyard Detox Diet to help shrink her already slender frame. The extreme diet - which was popular in Hollywood in 2007 - encourages followers to ingest liquids every two hours to "cleanse the body". Solid food is strictly prohibited. Angelina reportedly started her detox three days before last month's Oscars and is already battling weakness and fatigue. Another source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "She has been trying to go for the full 21 days but it's tough. She's lost around eight pounds but is now introducing a couple of small meals in between shakes as she was starting to feel weak." "Michael has got some new music and he is looking for a new way of disseminating his material to his fans." The rapper - who has attended several shows at this week's Paris Fashion Week with Amber Rose - cast the shaven-headed model as a robotic police officer in the promo for his forthcoming single 'Robocop', prompting speculation their relationship is a publicity stunt.
A source said: "Kanye's popularity has dipped a little in recent months so what better way to get people interested again than by stepping out with a stunning model - and then casting her in his video. People will be tuning in to see the sexual chemistry."
Despite the speculation, Amber recently described Kanye as "amazing" and friends insist she is the ideal match for the hip-hop star.

‘So many people want to be a singer but it's the lifestyle they go for.
However it's also about getting up at four in the morning, doing a night feed and then going to work then getting home at midnight and it's a really tough job.’
The former-Hearsay star has worked hard to get her body back to its bikini best but she insists it was not one of her priorities.
‘Getting back in shape was not top of my priorities. It was important for me to be a good mum first and foremost and not worry about which bits wiggle,’ added the singer.

Rihanna Gently Eases Back Into Work

The 'Umbrella' singer - whose boyfriend Chris Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats last week, after allegedly assaulting her - is keen to put her recent troubles behind her and has started recording new songs.
Her producer Adonis Shropshire said: "She's really just easing back into it.
Just a couple of ideas here and there over the last couple of weeks. It's coming out good.
"She's really going in the same direction. She always brings her best efforts every time she steps into the stage or the studio. Her next album will eclipse what she's done before, so it's going to be hot."
Adonis insists Rihanna, 21, is coping well with the attention on her private life, and is doing all she can to get over the incident.
He added to HipHollywood.com: "She's doing OK. I mean, of course with the situation, she's all right. You have to remember, she's still a kid. With anybody in the world that goes through something, you have to bring yourself out of it. So I guess her refuge is her music, of course, as it should be.
"Of course, there's still remnants of whatever from time to time, but she's definitely trying to move forward."
Chris, 19, is accused of punching, biting and choking Rihanna in his rented Lamborghini car.
He is yet to enter a plea in relation to the charges, but is due to appear in court on the
