Sorry Not Tonight Jack

Jack Tweedy may still be grieving for his wife, but it appears it will take more than sympathy to get him into some of London’s most famous nightspots.
Just six days after being released from prison, Tweedy, was back out partying on the London nightclub scene. After visiting Movida, he attempted to carry on partying at Bungalow 8, where he was refused entry.
So it seems that if even the people most in the public eye can be turned away, what chance do non-celebs have?  Of course it always helps to get your name on the club’s guest list beforehand, although the clubs still have the right to refuse admission. Here are some other tips to avoid any embarrassment or disappointment.

    • Always act appropriately, if you’re blind drunk and stumbling over, it’s not likely that you will make it through the door.
    • Check out the club’s dress code beforehand. Don’t expect to be let in if you turn up looking like you’ve just come out of the gym. Always dress smartly - that way you shouldn’t have a problem.
    • Avoid turning up as a large group of men. Most nightclubs will turn you away.
    • Always take your ID, even if you think you look old enough. Most nightclubs in London will require you prove your age.
